Orange

When we picked up Alex today, he proudly presented Joey with a picture he drew all by himself for his big brother. Joey was so sweet, and genuinely thankful to Alex, until they talked about what it was...

J: Alex, what is it a drawing of?
A: orange!
J: I know what color it is, but what did you draw?
A: orange, Joey! I draw orange!
J: ALEX! YOU'RE NOT LISTENING! What IS it?
A: ORANGE!!!
J: whatever...

Brothers are so sweet.

November in review...

What we have recently learned from crazy two year old Alex:
* 'I have carrots in my pants'
* 'Toodles is sleeping! In my milk! Oh, Toooooodles!'
* his Mexican cheese is having a birthday tonight... 'Happy birthday to Alex's cheese, happy birthday to Alex's cheese...

Just moments later, Alex fell off the back of the log.

a sample of Joey's school work these days

From Baby-zilla, crashing everything he built, to best friend... 'You made it even cooler, Alex!' It only took 2 years -- so fun to watch these guys grow.

Alex has been worried people might think he's gone soft, so he requested an edgier look. And monkey pjs, too.

Halloween

Halloween was full of fun festivities, including trick-or-treating at Mommy's work, school parties, and exploring our new neighborhood! Joey chose his costume -- a killer whale -- in August, and never wavered. Alex wasn't sure until the minute before walking out the door whether or not he'd wear his parrot costume.

Neighborhood trick-or-treating, in the pouring rain. Good thing Daddy can rig up a beach umbrella on a wagon!
