End of August...

After we got back from Cape Cod, Joey had a little problem with putting on pants. He refused, citing that he wasn't forced to wear them in our vacation house, so he shouldn't have to at home. Fair enough.

For a kid in Montessori school who knows the rule about not kneeling on the mat quite well, it is very hard to play on a 6'x8' rug. How do you get to the middle?

 

Alex wasn't allowed to play with Joey's new toys the first night...

...he was super bummed.

We had a wonderful family vacation, just 90 minutes away from home. Great house, great location, perfect weather, and great kids. We went to the beach every single day, never went anywhere else, and everyone had a blast. The only one of us that was probably ready to go home was Alex -- he was craving a little more 'normal' routine by the end. We're certainly raising a couple of beach bums!
