Joey celebrated his birthday with his classmates at My Montessori. He was asked to hold a globe and walk around the sun 3 times, signifying his 3 years on earth. We were asked to show photos of him from each year, and tell a little story about him at each age. At the end of his journey around the sun, he was asked to choose 3 friends to give him a birthday wish. One girl wished him 'cupcakes', one boy wished him 'to be happy at school', and another boy wished him 'lots and lots of toys.' He loved the who process, and was allowed to be Ms. Lynn's special helper and hand out his birthday treat - Lightning McQueen cookies.
